Beef Tenderloin
Ingredients
- 3-6 lbs Beef tenderloin
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2-4 cloves garlic crushed or chopped
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
Steps
Remove beef from refrigerator 60 to 90 minutes before starting to roast. This brings beef to room temperature. Place in roasting pan lined with foil.
Mix melted butter, soy sauce, garlic and black pepper. Pour mixture over roast turning in pan to coat.
Preheat oven to 425
Roast 10-13 minutes per pound for medium rare. 140 degrees on instant read thermometer. Baste with pan drippings 2 times during roasting.
Remove from oven. Cover with foil. Let rest for 15 minutes.
Carve as desired.
